What's in the white paper?

A sector set to grow by over 10% by 2022, according to a study by the Observatoire de la Confiance Numérique, cybersecurity is no longer just a defensive issue.

As Sandrine Cathelat (Opeo) emphasized at the Netexplo 2023 forum, this is a cultural and transformational challenge for organizations. Against this backdrop, it's clear that corporate boards need to get to grips with the subject.

According to a study carried out by Kapersky, more than half of French executives systematically put cybersecurity on the agenda of their board meetings, but almost half of them feel that the subject is still poorly understood by management teams, citing its complexity and the jargon associated with it.

2017 will have marked a milestone with the realization of the financial damage caused by the NotPetya and Wannacry viruses, and more recently Log4shell; and since then, the fact that the threat is evolving and that the risk is increasingly likely has been well and truly integrated by these same management teams.

It now remains to fully acculturate decision-makers and business leaders, to give them the tools to anticipate threats and deal with them, and with this in mind, the government had moreover announced in 2022 a budget of 30 million euros to help SMEs and ETIs build their cyber shield - for some structures, the NIS2 directive obliges them to implement tools to secure their IS.

And in addition to budgetary resources, an effective cybersecurity policy also involves organizational aspects, with the inclusion of CIOs on executive committees or boards of directors.By downloading this guide, you will :
